TIP #4 *Checking Line Length in Flight*
There are 2 PREREQUISITES:
1. You must be able to fly a low ground pass and turn the kite
straight up in the center of the wind window.
2. You must be able to fly a straight vertical line in the center of the
wind window even if your lines are not equal length.
Fly a low ground pass and turn the kite to go straight up in the
center of the wind window. Keep your hands close together while
causing the kite to fly perfectly straight up in the center. When the
kite is flying exactly straight up and before it gets more than 3/4 of
the way up PRESS YOUR HANDS TOGETHER. Keep your hands
together while the kite hovers at the top and check to see the
relative position of your hands. Do this several times and then
land the kite and make the appropriate adjustment to the longer
line.
